He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howald and Betty Howald (Molnar). He is survived by: his friend Pub; his wife Shelly; his daughter Sarah; his grandchildren, Anthony, Mario and Skyler; his siblings, Sandra Roberts (David), Linda Zaciewski (Joe), Jeff Howald, Jim Howald (Anne) and Joe Howald; and his friends, Donna and Andrew Okoroski. He is also survived by brother-in-law, Jeff Links; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with his grandson's college fund.
