He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenz Elling and Irene Elling (Kinder); and his sisters, Iretha and Opal. He is survived by: his wife Judy Bechstein; his children, Joy Sargent (Rob), Rob Elling Jr. (Terri), Doug (Joy) and Julie Hefflinger (Chad); his grandchildren, Courtney, James, Cody, Cassi, Caleb, Jakob, Sam, Henry, Todd, Derek and Bryan; his sisters, Rosella Hannewald (Jerry) and Glenna Mae Helmke (Kenny); and his pet Junior. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Bob's honor may be gifted to the church or the Liberty Center Athletic Boosters.
