He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence "Larry" Gerity Sr. and Gerelda Gerity (Rouch); his former wives, Wendy Grindstaff and Hella Gerity; his wife Dee Gerity (Hughes); his son Nathaniel Joseph Gerity; and his brothers, Larry "Mike" and Reginald "Billy".
He is survived by: his children, Brianna, Josiah, Bethany, Mercy, Miriam and Isaac; and his siblings, Gregory "John", James, Brad, Jerry and Peggy.
