He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Garlick and Agnes Garlick (Gibson); his siblings, Earl Garlick Jr., Mary Ann Garlick and Larry Garlick; and his niece Roxanne Root (Mark).
He is survived by: his wife Marie Stieb; his children, Rebecca Ott (Marty) of Jasper, MI, Suzanne Batridge of Lake Zurich, IL and Stephen Garlick (Marcie); and his grandchildren, Carey Root, Curt Root (Sara), Jonas (Caitlyn), Cora Ott, Olivia Ott, Owen Ott (Brittany), Wayne, Randall Batridge (Jessica) of Lake Zurich, IL., Peter Batridge of Chicago, IL, Wyatt Garlick and Nolan Garlick. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
