Gerard Anthony Hallett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard Anthony Hallett of Swanton, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hallett and Louise Hallett (Poss); his daughter Teri Mock; and his siblings, Peggy Friel, Rita Hallett, Terrence, Lawrence Jr., Gerald and James Hallett.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Elaine Belcher; his children, Bonnie Gratop (Gary), Mary Jo Jacoby (Stephen), Anthony Hallett (Toni) and Gary, Jr. Hallett (Nicole); his son-in-law Stacy Mock; his grandchildren, Brandon Hallett (Patsy), Justin Hallett, Kristen Mock, Allison Sims (Luke), Alexander Gratop (Grace), Maria Jacoby, Andrew Hallett, Benjamin Hallett and Jackson Hallett; and his brother Richard Hallett (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Weigel Funeral Homes - Swanton (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Richard Catholic Church (333 Brookside Dr, Swanton, OH 43558).
