He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Holtz and Denise Holtz (Herchelbout); and his siblings, Ruth Vagt and Louis Holtz. He is survived by: his wife Darla Mae Petrucha; his children, Dawn Carpenter (Jim) and Matthew Holtz (Lisa); his grandchildren, Courtney, Kyle Carpenter, Elizabeth and Joshua Holtz; his great grandchildren, Lilli Carpenter, Avayla and Hayden Carrisalez; and his sister-in-law Carol Knaur (Norman). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
