She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Charles and Florence Simon (Mossing); her husband Earl Gearig; her daughter Beth Puder; her siblings, Ihla, Wilma, Edna Simon, Norma McGhee and Malcolm "Mac" Simon; her parents-in-law, Troas and Omer Gearig; her siblings-in-law, Orville, Lawrence, Edwin Gearig, Violet, Virginia, Helen Gearig, Jean Simon and Thomas McGhee; and also Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Salisbury (Rick), Wayne Gearig (Leslie) and Mark Gearig; her grandchildren, Stacy Brummet (Rick), Carrie Bretz (Nathan), Stephanie Buesking, Hope Modlin (Jason), Holly Walker (Andy) and Scott Gearig (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Michael Bretz (Jordan), Kaleb, Devin Modlin, Madeline, Drew, Lucas Walker and Brayden Gearig; and her great great grandchild Bexley Bretz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
