He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Kennedy and Adah Kennedy (Hubbs); his wives, Idonna Bell Mock and Donna; his children, Becky Kennedy and Jeffrey Kennedy, Jr.; and his siblings, Glen Kennedy, Lee Heintz, Jean Kennedy and Mary Ellen Kennedy.

He is survived by: his grandson Brodie; his daughter Denise Stevens (Robert); his grandchildren, Wesley Stevens (Jenelle), Andrew Stevens, Jeffery Kennedy, Jr., Betsy Kennedy and Michael Kennedy; and his stepsister Carolyn Clegge (Earl). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
