He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Maltby and Vernena Cunningham Ball Maltby; and his sisters, Peggy Yoakum and Jeanette DeBerard. He is survived by: his wife Lois Nielson; his children, Laura Wilson (Tim), Linda Ruemmele and Steve Ball (Kathy); his grandchildren, David Wilson (Shay), Brian Wilson (Enza), Daniel Wilson (Amanda), Allison Gerren, Sarah Gerren, Anne Gerren, Michael Ball, Christopher Ball and Brad Lasater (Melinda); his great grandchildren, Sienna, Cassidy, Alfonso, Lawrence, Maya and Sadie; his siblings, Ruth Mills and Kenneth Ball (Linda); and his sister-in-law Carol O'Dell (Russ). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
