It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale K. Bechstein of Swanton, Ohio, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dale K. Bechstein to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Joe" Bechstein and Bertha Bechstein (Hoffer); his wife Donelda Bender; his daughter Linda Sue Bechstein; and his brothers, George, Norman and Bruce Bechstein.
He is survived by: his children, James Bechstein, Steven Bechstein (Linda), Thomas Bechstein (Carol) and Julie McQuillin (Brian); his granddaughter Hope Cox; and his children, Bryan Bechstein, Mikal Bechstein, Jillian Bozarth, Amanda Maynhart, Joel Bechstein, Lisa McQuillin and Amy Miller. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
His expert gift of carving led to approximately 100 intricately designed canes, which he would donate to veterans in need.
