With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Pawlinski of Swanton, Ohio, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Kasten and Helena Kasten (Fehser). She is survived by: her husband Edward Pawlinski; her daughter Becky Johnson; her daughter-in-law Peggy Pawlinski; her grandchildren, Bobby Jo Raftery (Walter), Miha Donnelly (Stephen), Ryan Pawlinski (Lauren), Daniel Pawlinski (Amanda), Kristen Anderson (James), Emily Loch (Dan), Kaitlin Christian (Joshua), Brittany Stevens (Eric) and Stefanie Johnson; her great grandchildren, Meghan, Colin, Whitney, Landon, Max, Peyton, Saylor, Evie, Isla, Davis, Alex, Grace, Hunter, Jake, Hailey, Kylie, Kayla, Daniel, Landen and Micah; her brothers, Robert Kasten (Sharon) and Fred Kasten; her children, Douglas Pawlinski, Michael Pawlinski, Robin Chevalier and Mary Ann Pawlinski; her brother Marvin Kasten; her grandson Brandon Johnson; and her children-in-law, Robert Johnson and Brenda Pawlinski (Rathbun). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home ~ Swanton (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society or ASPCA.
