He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand and Elizabeth (Schliewe); and his former wife Bonnie Lee Helen Miller. He is survived by: his children, Tamara Schwartz (Ken), Thomas Kitzman and Susan Ohneck; and his wife Isabelle Thompson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Homes - Swanton (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church (2250 S Holland Sylvania Rd, Maumee, OH 43537).
