She was predeceased by: her father Charles Howard; her husband Frederick Hugh Shingleton; her siblings, Brown Moore, Earl Moore, Howard Moore, Walter Moore, Belva Gooden, Dessie Jones, Edna Auvil and Eva Phillips; and her sisters-in-law, Mildred Moore, Emogene Moore and Evelyn Moore.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael and Mark Shingleton; and her grandchildren, Mark Shingleton (Sabra) of Marengo, Virginia and Michael Shingleton (Victoria) of Alexandria.
