It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Libby Smith in Sunbury, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stantie Miller and Leona Miller (Stauffer); her husband Ralph "Red" Smith; her brothers, Eugene and Nelson Miller; and her sister-in-law Ruth Solt.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Smith (June), Tom Smith and Paul Smith (Priscilla); her grandchildren, Molly Smith (Rod Hackney), Emily Arters (Gregory) and Christopher DeLaguardia (Natalia); her great grandchildren, Korey, Kelsey Arters, Mia and Stefan DeLaguardia; and her brother-in-law Loy Smith (Annabelle).
In lieu of flowers the Smith family asks that memorial contributions in Libby's name be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Mt Vernon, Ohio (170 Mansfield Ave, Mt Vernon, OH 43050) or Hartford Township Fire Department (180 Smith St, Hartford, OH 43013).
