Though Elwyn may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laban Hock and Annie Hock. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Beth Colangelo (Steve) of Sugar Hill, GA and Randy Hock (Carrie) of Millersville, PA; and his stepchildren, Jonathan Thiessen (Tracey) of Coto de Caza, CA, Jeremy Thiessen of Mt. Sterling, KY, Sarah Lint (Todd) of North Canton, OH, Matthew Thiessen of Nashville, TN and Jessica Long (Marc) of Sunbury, OH.. He is also survived by grandfather and was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, his six siblings and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene (16001 Glen Rd, Mt Vernon, OH 43050).
