He was predeceased by: his sisters, Evelyn and Sheryl Bedell. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his son Steven Bedell (Angela); his granddaughters, Kasie Lea and Lillian Mae; his stepson Ryan Barker (Hope); and his grandchildren, David, Abigail, Nathan and Caleb.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northgate Church (51 Fourwinds Ct, Sunbury, OH 43074). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5600 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Doug's memory to support the boys and girls orphanages of Grace International in Haiti run by native ministers Bishop Joel & Doris Jeune.
