He was predeceased by: his son Rick Dimmerling; his sisters, Melba Hupp and Ruth Warner; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Poland and Mick Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene S. Dimmerling (Thompson); his sons, Duane Dimmerling and Michael Dimmerling (Valerie); his grandchildren, Jordan Cline (Adam), Tyson Dimmerling (Candice), Mitchell Dimmerling (Adrianne), Joshua Dimmerling, Alexandrea Dimmerling, Danyel Dimmerling and Faith Dimmerling; his great grandchildren, Rixton, Maddix, Peyton and Adalee Dimmerling; his siblings, Jean Lowe (Larry) of Caldwell, Jane Thompson (Virgil) of Summerfield, Alice Piatt (Richard) of Graysville, Marilyn Poland of Pleasant City, Ohio, Paul Dimmerling (Maureen) of Caldwell, Bill Dimmerling of Carlisle and Gary Dimmerling (Susie) of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sister-in-law Diane Carpenter (Jerry Wheeler) of Belle Valley, Ohio; his nieces, Akerrius Harmon (Jason) and Annika Carpenter; and his great-nephew Jerrason Harmon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family.
Abiding with the State of Ohio recommendations for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, a private visitation will be held for family only at St. Michael Catholic Church, Carlisle, Ohio on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
