With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Hill Sr. (Summerfield, Ohio), who passed away on September 3, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hill and Dena Coleman Hill; his siblings, Agnes Burkhart, Freda Ritterbeck and Raphael Hill; his sister-in-law Ethel Weisend; and his stepgranddaughter Deanna Smithberger.
He is survived by: his wife Lela Kirkbride Hill; his children, Diane Gray (Dan) of Senecaville, Debbie Forshey (Robert) of Caldwell, Lynne Smithberger (Jim) of Lower Salem, Jodi Schott (Dave) of Caldwell, Ohio, Bernard Hill Jr. (Kerry) of Summerfield, David Hill (Katrina) of Mt. Blanchard and Jamie Hill (Tess) of Woodsfield, Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Mallett (Larry) of Summerfield, Ohio and Donald Kirkbride (Linda) of Summerfield, Ohio. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and ten step-great-grandchildren.
