She was predeceased by: her father Steve Lawhun; her husband Thomas R. McGhee; her sons, William Howard and Rodger Rister; and her brothers, Earl Lawhun, Steve Lawhun Jr. and Harlen Rister.
She is survived by: her children, Orville Rister (Mary), Oliver Rister (Kimberly), Sharlet Payne, James Rister, Jr. and Thomas Howard. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
