It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irvin G. Sommer (Sugarcreek, Ohio), who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Irvin leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram W. Sommer and Ida C. Sommer (Steiner); and his sister Ruth Sommer. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be sent to the Orrville Christian & Missionary Alliance Church for the missions program.
