Avery E. Yoder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avery E. Yoder of Sugarcreek, Ohio, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mothers, Lola Yoder (Jones) and Carol A. Yoder (Miller); his wife Ada Yoder (Troyer); his son Jeffrey E. Yoder; his brother William "Bill" Yoder; his half-siblings, Delbert Fleming, Raymond "Dale" Jones, Alta Miller, Alma Heilman, Virginia Jones and Evelyn Carmichael; and his close friend Nancy Goodmote.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Yoder (Tammy) of New Philadelphia, Leanne Harman (Matt) of Sugarcreek, Loretta Miller (Scott) of Millersburg, Lorraine Harding (Bobby) of Sugarcreek and Bryan Yoder (Rae Ann) of Dover; his stepson Ron Klein (Charlotte) of Killbuck; his grandchildren, Mitchell Yoder, Kayla, Luke Yoder (Jenny), Tyler (Mackenna), Zach Harman, Alyssa Eliot (Taylor), Jarod Miller (Carla), Renee Conkle (Hunter), Erica Festi (Spencer), Kari Miley (Adam), Ryan Harding (Kelsey), Andrew Yoder (Ashley), Jordan, Sarah Medrano (Hunter) and Haylee Yoder; his brother Harvey M. "Mel" Yoder (Arlene); and his sister-in-law Mary Jane "Janie" Yoder. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home (115 Andreas Dr NE, Sugarcreek, OH 44681). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
