He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston E. Roberts and Macie E. Roberts (Bixler); his wife Melanie; and his siblings, Gerald, Clarence, Eugene, Preston Roberts, Clara Belle Miller and Dorothy Thaxton.
He is survived by: his children, Bernard Roberts of Columbus, Lynda Tipton (Candus) of Sugar Grove and Scott Roberts of Powell; and his grandchildren, Leah, Melody, Chris Roberts, Hunter Robertson, Josh Emmert, Jared Lopresti and Hannah Shea Roberts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
