He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Short and Lucile Short; his wife Lyn (Hyatt); and his siblings-in-law, Barb Short and Don Hyatt.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Short (Sandy) of Stryker and Greg Short of Stryker; his grandchildren, Jake Short, Luke Short (Kelsey), Lyndsey Short and Drew Short (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Grayson, Alan, Cora, Oakley, Ellie and Waylon; and his brothers, Phil Short of Stryker and John Short (Terrie) of Archbold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to CHP Hospice.
