She was predeceased by: her parents, James Strong and Ofelia Strong (Gonzalez); her husband Benito Martinez; and her son-in-law Todd Shock. She is survived by: her children, Grace Martinez (Lance) of Archbold, Dan Martinez (Jan) of Stryker, Ruben Martinez (Kim) of Stryker, Norma Brenner (Bryan) of Jasper, TN, Joe Martinez of Stryker, Melva Martinez of Archbold, Irma Shock of Stryker, Jimmy Martinez of Stryker and Gilbert Martinez of Stryker. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
