He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer F. Lohse and Lena Lohse (Mahler); his siblings, Martha Snyder, Jacob Lohse, Walter Lohse, Donna Meyers and Charles Lohse; and his close friend Howard Stantz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Patton (Jim) of Stryker and Karen F. Locke of Lake Alfred, Florida; his grandchildren, Sarah Sampson, John Patton and Robert Patton; and his sister Betty Griffiths of Bryan.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Huntington's Disease Society of America.
