He was predeceased by: his parents, Horton William and Elsie Mary Conklin (Wallace); and his siblings, Elmer, Horton, William Conklin and Connie Stiriz.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Catherine Conklin (Niese); his children, Roxanne Metzger (Bill) of Montpelier, Lisa Hintz (George) of Sand Creek and John Conklin (Marsha) of Montpelier; and his sister Bernita Grime (Harold) of Wauseon. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren with twin great grandchildren.
