She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kruse and Wilma Kruse (Schnitkey); and her boyfriend Eugene "Pete" Head. She is survived by: her son Steve Bortell (Laurie) of Archbold; her stepchildren, Theresa Lang (LouAnn), Brenda Womble (Tim) and Jerry Lang; her grandson Stetson Bortell; her great grandchild Landon Bortell; her brother Wayne Kruse (Vivian); her nephews, Todd Kruse, Scott Kruse and Greg Kruse (Sarah); and her close friend Ronda Baer.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 17901 Hunting Bow Cir #102, Lutz, FL 33558, or St. John's Lutheran Church.
