He is survived by: his wife Deloris "Dee" Hill; his children, Scott Oppenheim of Houston, Texas, Teresa Emrich (Bernath) of Cordova and Dena Ball (Messner) of Palm Desert, California; his grandchildren, Julie Oppenheim, Caitlyn Emrich, Emily Emrich and Avery Ball; and his brother Jerry Messner of Montpelier.
