He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Burkholder and Alvera Burkholder (Lindau); his wife Rose Marie Clark; his granddaughters, Susan Marie Miller and Clara Rose Rowlands; his brothers, Harley and Ralph Burkholder; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Ruffer, Veryl Roth and Kenneth Clark.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Miller (Mark) of Archbold, OH, Karen Norris (Chris) of Marion, IN and Laura Rowlands (Tom) of Lexington, KY.; his grandchildren, Michael Miller (Amber), James Norris (Lindsey), Andrew Norris (Julia), Kathrine Hindall (Jacob), Jenna Kennedy (Henry), Ariel Miller, Jonathan Rowlands and Juliana Rowlands; his great grandchildren, Morgan Lulfs, Zoe Lulfs, Braden Norris, Abigail Norris, Hayden Hindall, Owen Norris, Simon Kennedy, Wyatt Hindall and Adam Norris; his sister Norma Roth; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Ruffer and Donna Burkholder.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the First Baptist Church in Stryker, or the Stryker Senior Center.
