He is survived by: his wife Claudine (Bowers); his children, Brad Schmucker (Nancy) of Bowling Green, Ohio and Kristi Ovak of North Canton, Ohio; his sister Della Merillat of Hudson, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Adam Ovak of Lakewood, Ohio, Jared Ovak of Parma, Ohio and Samantha Prosowski (Cory) of Amherst; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Lydia.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, a graveside service and time of gathering will be postponed until a later date to be announced by the family.
