With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudine Mae Schmucker of Stryker, Ohio, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Bowers and Stella Bowers (Beck); her husband Gerald; her brothers, Wayne Bowers and Max; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Bowers, Paul Merillat and Lavon Schmucker.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Schmucker (Nancy) of Prescott, AZ and Kristi Ovak of North Canton, OH; her grandchildren, Adam Ovak of North Olmstead, OH, Jared Ovak of Copley, OH and Samantha Prosowksi (Cory) of Amherst, OH; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Lydia and Leighton; her sister-in-law Della Merillat; her close friend Sharon; and her grandson Maddix Grime.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the First Lutheran Church of Stryker.
