It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas V. Petzinger (Struthers, Ohio), born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernice Van Voorhis and Henry W. Petzinger; his wife Jean Belden March Petzinger; his children, William, Elizabeth Holter (Stephen) of Boardman, Charles Petzinger (Lisa) of Amelia, OH and Thomas Petzinger Jr. (Paulette Thomas) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Beatrice Olesko (Nicholas) of Ithaca, NY, Chase Petzinger (Amanda) of Loveland, OH, Eva Petzinger of Somerville, MA, Janis Petzinger of Dundee, Scotland and Sam Holter of Boardman; his great grandchildren, Amelia Olesko, Lincoln Petzinger and Griffin Petzinger; and his close friend Paula Barrett.
The family requests material contributions take the form of donations to either the University of Mount Union or to the Boardman United Methodist Church.
