He is survived by: his wife Sharlene (Gennaro); his children, Eric Phelan (Jillian) of Cincinnati, Brian Phelan (Kelli) of St. Cloud, David Phelan (Carlee) of Boardman and Dana Kawahara (Kevin) of Buffalo; his brother Reid Phelan (JoAnn); and his grandchildren, Leo, Naomi, Ezra Phelan, Edison, Desmond Kawahara, Olivia and Hailie Phelan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
