We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2024, at the age of 77, Richard Allen Lakin of Struthers, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Richard. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Kenneth C. Frances M. Brown; his sons, Robert S. Lakin (Melanie) and Kenneth C. Lakin (Kaye); his grandson Ian Lakin of Texas; and his sisters, Suelyn Lakin Woods of Struthers and Bonnie Lakin Britton (William) of Canfield, OH. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
He did charity and bike runs to benefit the families of deceased riders.
