With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis A Slaven of Struthers, Ohio, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Phyllis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phyllis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Parker and Catherine Parker (Straley); and her siblings, Mary Jean Connell and Joseph Parker. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Popovich (Andrew) of Poland, William Slaven of Columbus, OH and David Slaven (Bridget) of Everett, WA; and her brother George Parker. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home (11 Spring St, Struthers, OH 44471). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Becker Funeral Home - Struthers (11 Spring St, Struthers, OH 44471).
