He was predeceased by: his parents, Stefan Schmidt and Magdalena Morell Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Inge Kreuder; and his children, Stefan Schmidt of Columbus, Robert Schmidt (Michelle) of Stow and Amy Berry (Kelly) of Columbus. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
