She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hertz and Mary Bella Hertz; her husband Nicholas E. Muntean, Sr.; and her sisters, Patricia Smrecansky and Loretta Ryczaj.
She is survived by: her children, Nicholas E. Muntean Jr. (Beverly) of Struthers, George R. Muntean (Andrea) of Poland, Christina M. Montgomery (Danny) of Lowellville and Elizabeth A. Colbert (Robert) of Boardman; her brother Ray Hertz (Carol) of Punta Gorda, FL; and her godson Bobby Badilla of Belgium. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
