It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Marzo of Struthers, Ohio, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Clyde and Marie Leer (Koontz); her husband William B. Marzo; and her siblings, Barbara Stewart of Pittsburgh, PA, Richard, Wilbert and Ben Leer.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Marzo of Struthers and Steven Marzo of Cortland, OH; and her siblings, Doris Shrock of Somerset, PA, Patty Weimer of Gettysburg, PA, Maxine Stahl of Somerset, PA, Lois Frantz of Dover, DE, Katie Pitzer of Portsmouth, RI, Judy Lando of Raleigh, NC, Peggy of Cumberland, MD, Edward of Somerset, PA, Tom of Garret, PA and Sam Leer of Cumberland, MD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions take the form of donations to either Southern Care Hospice, 5401 Ashley Circle, Suite E, Austintown, OH 44515, or to the Struthers City Schools Foundation.
