He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Gratz and Anna Simon Gratz; his wife Mary Agnes Myers; his children, Bernard and Mary Patricia; his daughter-in-law Mary Helen Gratz; his granddaughter Kathleen Gratz; and his siblings, Jerome, Joseph, Dorothy Malone, Delores Thornton, Thelma Thornton, Anna Schmitt, Rita Rozum and Bertha Amendol.
He is survived by: his son Gerald Gratz of Poland; his son-in-law Robert Kalasky of Struthers; his grandchildren, Michelle, Jerry, James Gratz, Caitlin Dunnavant (Taylor), Kelsey Moreton (Anthony) and Carleen Kalasky (Chris Staley); and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Archer, Ranger Gratz, James, Maren and Lilo Moreton.
