He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare Agnes Simmons and Milo Fredrick Ohr; his son Dr. Joseph Simmons Ohr, Jr. (Kristen); his wife Carol Ann Ohr; and the parents of child, Clare and Milo "Mike" Ohr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Anne Farragher (Eric) and Catherine Jean Finnegan (Thomas); his grandchildren, Patrick, Jenna (Alex), Connor Farragher, Luke, Kyle Finnegan and Madeline Ohr; his daughter-in-law Kristen Ohr; his nephew Peter Brett (Aimee); and his great-niece Molly Silverman.
