He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Pokrivnak and Mary Pokrivnak (Repko); his granddaughter Emily Marie Baytos; his sister Jeanne; and his brother-in-law Daniel Cronie.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Lou Rushton-Baytos; his children, Stephen C. Baytos IV (Kelly Oliverius) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Susan C. Carosella (John Howiler) of Poland, OH and David John Pokrivnak (Sara Oliver) of Howland, OH; his grandchildren, Stephen Baytos V, Sydney Baytos, Brandon Schmitt (B. J.), Morgan Baytos, Blake Carosella, Caine Carosella and Sylvie Pokrivnak; his nephew Geary Macovitz (Holly) of Struthers, OH; his nieces, Jill Harman (Dave) of New Middletown, OH and Andrea Solazzo (Anthony); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler Cronie, Danny Solazzo, Owen Macovitz, Ian Macovitz, Alexis Mcloskey and Livia Solazzo. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, numerous cousins and so, so many friends.
Alternatively, contributions made be made to Protestant Family Service Nonprofit & Pantry, 2915 Glenwood Avenue, #6, Youngstown, OH 44511, in memory of John or contributions to the family as a scholarship will be set up in John's name.
