He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Hillegas; his stepfather Maurice "Bud" Hillegas; and his siblings, Susan Phelan, Kimberly and David Clarke.
He is survived by: his mother Natalie Clarke Hillegas; his sister Shari Clarke of Poland; his daughters, Melanie Clarke-Penella (Luke), Lisa Clarke, Macie Glenn (John) of Youngstown and Teralyn Clarke (Tyler Smith) of Boardman; his grandchildren, Ryder, Kyrie, Sophie, Lydia, Julian and Tony; his nieces, Jamie Phelan of Poland and Pamela Zitello (Ken) of Poland; and his great-nephew Spencer Zitello.
