He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Andrew, Amy and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Patrick, Kate and Finnegan; his sons-in-law, Brad Mason (Amy) and Scott Stephenson (Jen); his brother Richard Boyd (Malinda); his brother-in-law David McClelland; and his pets, Rudy and Baxter. He is also survived by nephew and three nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in John's name to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Boardman, Ohio.
