She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Dilts Hoop and Lola Kime Hoop; her sister Margaret (Bill Dalrymple); and her cousins, Bill and Jean Hoop.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Smith (Tracy), Thomas Umbel (Suzie) and David Umbel (Diane); her husband Jack Fithian; and her grandchildren, Megan, Lindsey, Scott, John, Lauren, Benjamin, Marquel and Jori.
