It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James P. Jakubovic (Struthers, Ohio), born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Jakubovic and Irene Tokar Jakubovic; and his brother Robert Jakubovic. He is survived by: his wife Sally K. Shook; his children, Dawn Emery (Ed "Smasher") of Virginia Beach, VA, Denise Klingler (Dan) of Avon and Marc Jakubovic (Jenna) of Poland; his grandchildren, Katie Emery (Dan Dzurec) of Belmont, NC, Eric Emery (Michaela) of Leland, NC and Avery Jakubovic of Poland; his great grandchildren, James and Violet Emery of Leland, NC; his sister Marie Repasky of Winchester, VA; and his sister-in-law Helen "Moe" Jakubovic of Canfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home (270 N Main St, Poland, OH 44514). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
