With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Modarelli (Struthers, Ohio), who passed away on August 13, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Modarelli and Lena Modarelli (Galluppi). He is survived by: his wife Marie A. Frketich; his children, Lisa M. Skoloda (John) of Poland, OH, Lori A. Wilson (Eric) of Boardman, OH and Mark J. Modarelli (Tia) of The Villages, Florida; his grandsons, Tyler C. Skoloda (Mikayla Aowad) of Canton, OH and Dr. Daniel J. Skoloda (Christa) of Montgomery Village, MD; and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Holtzman (Chris) and Erika Hoover (Danny Hammond).
The family requests that monetary tributes take the form of contributions to New Life Church, 2250 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, OH 44514 in memory of Jim.
