With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Maytas of Struthers, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Maytas and Katherine Maytas (Kulcar); his granddaughter Sophia Rose Maytas; his brother Theodore Maytas; and his brother-in-law Robert Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Aey; his children, James E. Maytas of Youngstown, Christopher Maytas (George L. Chako) of Akron and Kimberly Maytas (Martin Planey) of Austintown; his sister Geraldine Frank of Greenwood, NE; his grandchildren, Christopher Maytas, Gabriella Maytas, Jeremy Maytas, Hannah Planey, Abigail Planey, Kara Planey and Madalyn Planey; his great grandchild Cylus Mellott; his brother Michael Maytes (Barbara) of Gretna, NE; and his sister-in-law Mary Maytas of Boardman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
