He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leavitt and Minnie Leavitt (Mohr); his former wife Bonnie Fadeley; his wife Dorothy "Dot" King; his daughter Judi Pavelko; his siblings, Ellen Depuy (Delbert), Dale Leavitt and Gale Leavitt; his stepson Stephen McAninch; and his sons-in-law, Gerald Yoho, Robert Pavelko, William Kirkman and Dick Schriber.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Yoho; and his stepdaughters, Nancy Schriber, Rebecca Kirkman and Jeanne Schimmlpfennig. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
