He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Holquist and Etta Eldena Holquist (Huffman); his wife Eleanor J. Sivecz; his daughters, Cheryl Ostrowski and Kathy Lavelle; his grandson Stephen Lavelle; his siblings, John Holquist and Cheryl Davis; and his brother-in-law Gary Haren.
He is survived by: his close friend Peggy Wagner of Austintown, OH; his grandchildren, Kevin Ostrowski, Amanda Ostrowski (Brian), Amber Mellen (Jason) of Cleveland and Martha Lavelle-Henson (Ben) of Cleveland; his siblings, Charles "Lou" Holquist (Gail) of New Middletown, OH, Tanya Bernard (Tony) of Hubbard, OH and Eldena Haren of Struthers, OH; his goddaughter Theresa M. Tanferno (Ali Itayim) of Struthers, OH; and his niece Terry Slavens of Cleveland. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
