Dara Tinker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dara Tinker in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her brother Norman Francis; and her children, Deonte Lozada and Desiree Francisca Lozada (Daughter). She is survived by: her parents, Reverend Walter L. Walker and Missionary Josephine E. Smith; her husband James Tinker; her children, Juan, Justin and Denzel Walker; and her siblings, Lawanna Walker-Lockett, Darlene Walker-Brown (William) and Jackie Graham.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pilgrim Baptist Church (67 Mc Clure St, Struthers, OH 44471). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
